Business Policies

In the interest of fairness to all of my clients, I am unable to offer special deals or discounts except for those that may be run occasionally as promotions. For this reason, please understand that session fees, print prices, and business policies are not negotiable.

DIGITAL IMAGES (files) are included as part of the original Baby Bump Package Purchased. Any additional digital files are only available with the purchase of a package from SH Portraits and begin at $150 per file.

Photos provided to you are chosen based on artistic merit, quality and overall appearance. At no time will all photos taken at your shoot be available for viewing. Photos that do not meet the photographer's proofing criteria are destroyed after initial processing.

I understand that there are different ratios among different crop sizes, for instance, a 5x7 is considerably more narrow than an 8x10 and will be cropped tighter on the sides.

I understand that Ms. Hutcheson is a portrait artist and that she may choose unconventional crops or perspectives as compared to a traditional chain studio. For instance, if a head is cropped, it is an intentional artistic decision on the part of Ms. Hutcheson, as demonstrated in the above image.

Many times Ms. Hutcheson will show an image in both black and white and in color. Occasionally, she may show an image or a series of images only in black and white. When purchasing the session album, you will not always receive both versions of an image; rather Ms. Hutcheson may include whichever version she deems is artistically more appealing.

Your online gallery will be available within 10 days of your session. If needed, we can discuss the timing of your gallery to ensure that all ordering parties will be available while it is accessible. It will remain online for 10 days.If you do not order before your gallery expires,there will be a $50 fee to republish. (The republish fee does not apply to galleries that are being republished for additional ordering at a later date.)

Up to three changes can be made on collages and custom cards. Any changes above the three included will be charged a $50 per hour design fee. There is a minimum of 1 hour charge.

All Baby Bump packages include 5-10 images to choose from. Should the minimum images not be reached, a reshoot will be schedule at the discretion of Ms. Hutcheson.

Payment of any order is due in full when you place the order. SH Portraits cannot accept partial payments. Orders placed without payment are not considered orders.

All regular portrait orders placed will be ready for you approximately 3 weeks after your payment is received (and checks cleared). Specialty items may take additional time (cards, canvases, handbags).

Ordered images will be kept on file for 6 months for further additional reprints at a later date. Due to storage limitations, any images not ordered will be purged after 60 days.

As with any custom work, all sales are final. There are no returns or refunds on prints or session albums.

No other camera or equipment other than the photographers is allowed in the photo session.

All items are priced from the Standard Price List in effect at the time of this agreement. Prices are guaranteed for a period of 30 days following the date of the portrait session. Items purchased more than 30 days after the date of the session will be priced from the most recent price list in effect.

Substitutions can not be made at anytime in Package Pricing.
