Proof Gallery

All of the proofs from your session will be posted and made available for viewing within one week of your session time.

Gallery Details

I will contact you within 1 week of your session to let you know that your gallery is ready to be previewed and published for viewing.

Your online gallery will expire after 7 days. If your order has not been placed after the 7 day viewing period a republishing fee of $50 will be charged before the gallery can be republished. If your order is placed within 24 hours, the $50 fee will then be applied as a print credit. If the order is not placed the $50 fee is forfeited and can not be refunded.

Please feel free to distribute the link to your gallery to anyone else who may be interested in ordering prints (i.e. out-of-town family, etc.) and let me know what they want at the ordering session.

All ordered images are kept on file and archived for six months after ordering. All un-ordered images are purged 30 days after your gallery expires.

Ordering Instructions

Please click the link below to return to the SH Portraits website to view your gallery.

Choose "Client Viewing" in the bottom right hand corner and enter your provided password in the appropriate box.

Your slideshow will now begin loading! (Make sure you grab a cup of hot coffee and maybe even a box of tissues for viewing!) As you are viewing your gallery you may choose your favorite images by clicking "Add to Favorites" on the image.

To view your favorite images and order portraits and gift items, select the shopping cart icon on the bottom right of the page.

If you would like to order additional sizes or items of a single image choose the "Add More Options" button for an additional drop down menu.

Once you have finalized your order, you can proceed to the checkout. From here you will have the option to pay via paypal or make payment arrangements offline. You may call with a credit card to finalize your order or mail a check.

Print Finishing

All prints are textured and are finished with a lustre coating. Prints 8x10 and larger are mounted for stability.

Print & Product Delivery

Orders will be processed as quickly as possible and you can expect your portraits to be ready approximately three weeks after ordering. You will be able to pick up your portraits at The Baby Bump Motherhood Center. Some custom products (gallery-wrapped canvas, collages and albums) may take up to five weeks for delivery. Submitting multiple orders at different times may result in additional shipping charges.

Any additional orders placed outside of your pre purchased Baby Bump collection are due in full at the time of ordering.

Cropping of Prints

The prints you receive will vary slightly from the online proof gallery depending on the size of the print you order.

The proof gallery images are published as 8x10s and the aspect ratio is different for other sized portraits. This means that a 5x7 actually slimmer and shorter than an 8x10, so the picture will need to be cropped to fit both the width and the height. Although everything possible is done to maintain the integrity of the crop shown in your gallery, please understand that due to crop ratios this simply isn't always possible.

This is an example of how an image will change with cropping.

If have concerns about cropping, please mention it and we can discuss at your order session.

Artist's Vision

In most cases your images will be shown in both color and black/white for your viewing. Please keep in mind when ordering a Session Album you may not receive both versions of an image

There may also be cases where an effect may be used on your images. These effects may include a glow, a texture overlayed, a brown/white tone rather than black/white or muted colors.

Please understand that as the artist, is it Samara's responsibility to decide which conversion is best suited for each image. Rest assured that the version you are shown is the image that I would order if it were for my own home.
