This little guy gave me a run for my money. . . .two times. But I am not one to give up! So our second session ended up being a hit and I am thrilled with the smiles and even the serious looks that I got out of him. Enjoy Mom & Dad - I’ll be getting your gallery to you soon!

This was the week of boys for me! I had the pleasure of visiting with another family that I photographed in the past. It is always great to catch up and see the kids grow and boy did this little guy grow and change. As a newborn he had thick dark hair and now it is light and he is as tall as my 4 year old (who truthfully is way short for his age!). Mom & Dad were wonderful as always and I had a lovely time at their mini session. I’ll have your gallery to you soon!

Take a look at little A. here. I can not believe how big he has gotten this past year. Some things are still the same though, awesome hair and big amazing eyes. Oh - his great parents too ;) I was lucky enough to visit with him during my mini sessions last weekend and it was a blast as usual!

Here is the first family from my mini sessions this past holiday weekend. Really the session was supposed to be all about brother, and it was for the most part, but with such a gorgeous big sister how could we leave her out! :) It was great to photograph them and a ton of fun. Enjoy this little “mini preview” your gallery will be to you TOMORROW!

Be on the lookout for the next family’s preview sometime tomorrow and remember to vote for SH Portraits in the Nicks Parents Picks awards for Best Buffalo Family Photographer. There is a link at the top of the blog!

As you all know, I have been nominated for Best Buffalo Family Photographer in the Nicks Parents Picks Awards (you can vote through the link at the top of the blog). Our local paper the Ken Ton Bee did an article about myself and SH Portraits then came along to a session with me last Wednesday for the photograph. Its been a fun experience and the honest truth is that I am most excited about the mention of the charities I belong to. Spreading the word about Pictures of Hope, NILMDTS, and ACPCG is a passion of mine. So here are the articles to read and take a peak at! Thanks as always for your continued support of myself and SH Portraits!

This little guy is just scrumptious isn’t he?! Everything about our session was great, gorgeous little man, awesome hair on him, a cute squishy little chin, I could go on and on. Enjoy everyone and thanks Mom for having me out to photograph your little guy!

It has been an entire year since I had the pleasure of photographing little G. here. I can still see that sweet newborn face in him but now he is a handsome little boy. With this perfect smile, the big amazing eyes, eyelashes I would kill for and the sweet curls, seriously I could not have asked for a more perfect little guy to photograph. It was such a pleasure to visit with Mom and Dad again as well I just adore all three of you. Enjoy your blog preview, your gallery will be up soon!

I know that I have a few phone calls to return and I am going to attempt to do that today. If you are one of the lovely people who is thinking, why won’t she call me back. . .I have no voice! I have barely been able to speak going on three days now and its not pretty. At the risk of sounding horrible over the phone I have waited and waited thinking oh it will be back, but it isn’t. I will call today though and if anyone else needs me, please send an email! Thanks!

Well last weekends weather put off any blog previews for this week, but I can always find something to talk about! Today is National Nutty Fudge Day, no really. . .it is. As if I needed another excuse to eat something made of chocolate. Now unfortunately for me, my 4 year old has nut allergies, but I am absolutely still going to get a piece of fudge tonight. In fact. . .The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company is within walking distance of my house. YUMMM!!!

A few other fun things to make a quick note about. . .

- On August 9th I will be hosting another indoor studio mini event at Baby’s Sweet Beginnings for their one year anniversary party. More details will come soon, but again space is limited so if you are interested, let me know now. I will put your name on my waiting list and you will be the first to pick a session time when the schedule is out!

Thats all for now - happy fudge eating everyone. Of course what is a photographers blog without a picture, so here is another recent portrait of my oldest. Her dark brown eyes amaze me, especially when compared to my 2 year old who has the bluest eyes ever. Love my kids!
