OK I am in love with this litttle guy – he was surprise arriving a bit early so we squeezed in his session before I leave for vacation tomorrow. Let me tell you – I am SO GLAD that we did! He was so good and there are amazing images of him, as you can see below. Thanks again Mom – I am sure he will grow to be as handsome as his big brtoher!

You may remember some of her beautiful maternity portraits from a year ago now here we are Tristan is ONE. He is just three weeks older than my little guy Reid and we are banking on them being just as good friends. Even if right now they beat each other with their toys and refuse to share. They have a lifetime to make up for it right?! I am enjoying this ride of Motherhood with Terry, just one more thing we get to share together (and trust me there has been alot. . .can we say roommates one summer! haha) I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for him in future years! You may notice a slight change when you visit SH Portraits. . .my brand new LOGO! It has been a long time coming and I am happy to say I finally have bit the bullet and had something custom designed that I feel really fits my style of children’s portrait photography. It is fun and whimsical yet still has that great classic feel to it too. I’m still the same children’s photographer that you all know and love to work with, just with a new look! I will be leaving for vacation next week, but like the crazy person I am I fit as much into my schedule as possible. So if you do not want to wait till the end of August for your summer session, book NOW for one of two evening sessions next week. Or book now for a session in the end of August. Also please keep in mind that my fall schedule books very quickly, especially for weekends and I am already booking in October for outdoor fall portraits and your family holiday cards. Please considering booking early this year, the cut off for holiday orders will be November 15th. I can’t wait to see all of my old friends and meet some new ones too!

I have waited an entire YEAR to finally meet these two beautiful siblings. Last summer’s odds were against us but as always. . .good things come to those who wait. They are amazing. Sweet, funny, adore each other and just a joy to photograph. I had a wonderful time with them last night and also finally meeting Mom, Grandma & Grandpa too. Thank you for inviting me to your home and having me share in these special memories with your children. I just adore them!

Having the chance to photograph twins this morning was so much fun. These two are just an absolute blessing and so so beautiful aren’t they! Their session could not have gone smoother and of course we came away with gorgeous images. I am so excited to show Mom & Dad everything but in the meantime here are a couple of my favorites. I waited a long time to meet this little guy! Last summer I was on maternity leave so I didn’t have the chance to do his newborn photos then finally this summer we try to meet and the weather was not in our favor. . .three times! Really what are the chances right! Well good things definately come to those who wait and little N. here was no exception.
