SH Portraits provides location photography in Buffalo & WNY for babies, children, families and maternity with a special focus on newborn photography. A limited number of weddings, family reunions and other special events are also booked each year.

I had the wonderful luck of photographing this gorgeous little girl one evening this week. Turning one means lots of celebrating – first steps, maybe a few new words, independence and lots of personality. Lets not forget her big party that is coming up too! Aw, what a little doll baby! The light in that first shot is just amazing and I love that last one with the wobbly steps, perfectly preserving this fleeting time.

Absolutely adorable! All are wonderful, but I also especially love the second one with the little impish grin on her face. That totally captures her “I am a happy baby” spirit! Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!
