Look who I got to start my week off with. Aren’t I lucky?! She is one gorgeous little girl.

Three Things:
1 – Mom makes awesome hats. In fact she even gave me the cute pink pouffy one below. I. Love. It.
2 – She has it made, I mean really. An awesome head of hair complete with natural highlights.
3 – She looks super awesome in purple.

Scarlett l Buffalo NY Newborn Portraits

If I could have fit this little beauty into my pocket and taken her home I would have! She is just gorgeous and I have an awesome variety of images from her session. Once she fell asleep she was out which made the session go smoothly and well, just perfect. Enjoy your Easter with your new bundle!

Mr. W. l buffalo newborn portraits

The weather this weekend pretty much blew it for my outdoor sessions (thanks mother nature!) but it couldn’t stop me from spending time with this sweet little face. What a bright spot in the otherwise dreary weekend!

3 Things:
1 – He looks just like his Daddy. It’s pretty awesome actually considering he is only a week old.
2 – He has the coolest parents and will be so blessed as he grows.
3 – The hair! Can you even stand it? If I didn’t have 5 kiddos at home, I may have attempted a get away with him. (ok not really, but he certainly is cute!)

Family #1 ~ Love these two to bunches. Something about the rich black from the iron steps in this photo that I have always loved!

Family #2 ~ There is simply nothing like having siblings. I love a great sibling portrait!

go sabres l buffalo ny photographer

If you were to ask me what makes me happy (aside from my family of course) hockey would top my list. I love it. My grandfather was a trainer for the Long Island Ducks (EHL), his cousin even played in the NHL and won a Stanley Cup. My Mom recalls Sunday dinners at her house with John Brophy and John Muckler (you hockey fans know who I’m talking about). So of course when the Sabres made it into the playoffs I was ummm excited to say the least. When I got tickets this morning for one of the playoff games I was pretty much jumping up and down. So, I made up a little Sabres word art with the awesome quote by the new owner. Enjoy – and feel free to use on your Facebook profiles if you’d like. photographer carousel l buffalo child photographer

Ok so think back to when you were a kid and how much you LOVED the carousel ride at the zoo, festival, etc. Cotton candy in one hand, the other on the ride. . .oh fun. So, another project I am working on is the photographer carousel. Once a month myself and a bunch of super awesome photographers will take a photograph based on a theme. It is going to be seriously awesome to see how each of these talented ladies interprets the word into a photograph. Just like when you were a kid except now its a latte in one hand (yum!) and your mouse in the other (so that you can keep clicking through all the awesome photos). This week. . .reflection

I am sure you have all heard it before “children are a reflection of their parents”. Well this is Reid and my husband is in the picture at Reid’s age. Seriously – a “reflection” of his father.
