SH Portraits provides location photography in Buffalo & WNY for babies, children, families and maternity with a special focus on newborn photography.  A limited number of weddings, family reunions and other special events are also booked each year.

Newborn Photography

Newborn photography is a passion and specialty of Buffalo photographer Samara Hutcheson. If you are considering a newborn session for your new arrival, please feel free to contact Samara via phone at 716-504-7635 or by email samara@shportraits.com in your first trimester. Your due date will be saved on the scheduling calendar to ensure that there is time reserved for you around when your little one will make his or her appearance. All newborn sessions should take place within the first 14 days so booking early and calling when the baby is born are both very important. Your newborn session will take place in the comfort of your home. Aside from a few things that Samara will go over with you prior to your session, all you will need to do is sit back and watch the session take place. Once your session is booked, an extensive phone and email consultation will take place to go over exactly what to expect at your session. After your session you will be provided with your online viewing gallery, as well as a custom slideshow that you can easily share with your friends and family to celebrate the birth of your baby.
