Three things:
1 – One last time for outdoor portraits this year. Phew – what a whirlwind fall season and so glad to have ended it with this gorgeous family!
2 – Could this little princess be any more gorgeous. . .watch out Mom & Dad!
3 – Loved getting to meet the little man for the first time, he looks so much like his big sister!

Love that this family took time out from busy schedules to have this portrait done. I wish more families did, how I wish I had an image like this of my family!

Three Things:
1 – Love this little guys shirt – so stinking cute when babies look like little men. Love it!
2 – Thrilled to have met this family through the Kiss 98.5 Born to Listen contest – I have met some great families who were winners and this one is no exception!
3 – Little man loves peek-a-boo. . .and I love photos where I know exactly what they are smiling at. Great memories for the family!

all the tricks – buffalo & lewiston ny family photographer

October 13th, 2011

Three Things:
1 – I broke out all the tricks and well. . .it worked. We had to pretend that I was going to be attacked by Dad (aka the tickle monster) but it totally worked. ;-)
2 – I’m going to be sad when all the “wishers” are gone and the snow is on the ground. I love “wishers” in photos kids are so sweet with them.
3 – I am having a hard time believing that when I first met this family that little sis here was barely crawling. Must. Stop. Time. Great seeing you guys again this year!! xo

anna rose – buffalo ny baby photographer

October 10th, 2011

For anyone who isn’t familiar with Anna Rose yet, this gorgeous little girl first met my camera when she was itty bitty – like a week or so old. In February of this year she was diagnosed with an AT/RT brain tumor. You can read more about Anna and follow along their journey here: https://www.facebook.com/weloveannarose

This morning was the third time I have seen Anna since her diagnosis and every time I come away with a larger appreciation for life. For small things – ducks, changing leaves and salted pretzels. For big things – the unending – never give up – love of a parent and a bright sunny warm day in October. . .in Buffalo (yes this is a huge thing!). This little girl is a warrior, she is a fighter and we could all learn a lesson or two from her spirit.

Please continue your prayers for Anna and her parents this week as they have a big week ahead ending with an MRI on Friday.

I love you both Nikki & Jason – thank YOU for allowing me to be a small part of Anna’s journey. xo
