SH Portraits provides location photography in Buffalo & WNY for babies, children, families and maternity with a special focus on newborn photography. A limited number of weddings, family reunions and other special events are also booked each year.

Meet this beautiful family. Christina and I met when our oldest girls were about 9 months old. In the lobby of church, because they wouldn’t stay in the nursery and were 9 months old and WALKING. It was meant to be. I knew very few people in this little (big!) city and she was one of my very first friends here – has it really been 11 years?! I love you. I love your beautiful beautiful children. I love how you inspire everyone around you. I love that I get to call you a friend. xoxo – Samara

1 – Please. Stop. The. Clock. Seriously watching them grow up is like watching my own grow up since I have been photographing them since R. here was a newborn. It must stop!
2 – Why do the most disgusting words and ridiculous phrases make kids laugh? Does it really matter as long as they do?
3 – A total blast – despite the big dark cloud hanging over us + I love the location and using the City of Buffalo!

I can not even begin to say how much I enjoyed doing this wedding. When a day consists of: my awesome friend assisting me Ruthi David (R David Original Photography), two amazing grooms, the most awesome wedding party, breaking into abandoned buildings for the most perfect pictures ever, and a flash mob as a little gift from one groom to the other. . .seriously how could anyone go wrong. If time machine’s existed (and I am fairly certain they do but someone is just holding out on all of us) I would go back and do this wedding again, and again. . .and again (but without the foot pain at the end of the day).
In all seriousness guys – best wishes to both of you and the start of your amazing new life together. You are both amazing. xo
