This little girl is just simply perfect. I think she has the most beautiful petite and lady like facial features, I could have photographed her all day long. Just love her. I have had a real run on newborn boys lately, so it was nice to “mix” it up a bit too. The images below for the contest have not been taken by SH Portraits and were all user submitted by each baby or child’s parent. Because SH Portraits does not only photograph babies, and photographs children of all ages, anyone was welcome to submit their photo. While the contest is named “Winter Baby” any photo submitted was eligible for the contest. Please note that while you are able to vote “once per day” this is in a 24 hour period. So if you vote at 8pm one day, you will not be able to vote again until after 8pm the following day. I promise that voting is being done fairly!

I can’t believe it is 2010 already – this little guy was my first session of the year and it is off to a great start. He is so cute, tons of fuzzy hair, perfect little lips I could go on and on (as I am sure Mom & Dad could as well). It totally paid off too with gorgeous family images and gorgeous images of this little guy. I love swaddling pictures and really I totally love his little chin. Ok awesome is the best way to describe this blog post. I had awesome kiddos, awesome parents, awesome weather (ummm this is mid November in Buffalo right? – pinch me!). . .get the idea! So so glad that I was able to get these cuties in today. Well I got to see this little guy again after not seeing him since he was an itty bitty newborn. His newborn session was well. . .he just didn’t want to sleep. . .at all. This time though wow – what a happy little guy. It is obvious that he is so loved and enjoys being in the limelight. So much fun to photograph babies that are full of smiles like him. I had a great time!

I have to admit – my heart skipped a beat when I saw this little one last night. She is just beautiful and I am in love with her big brown eyes. I think they have so much soul and light to them. I had a great time watching her explore and show me what she is all about. Her inquisitive personality kept me on my toes and we came away with great images. You may remember some of her beautiful maternity portraits from a year ago now here we are Tristan is ONE. He is just three weeks older than my little guy Reid and we are banking on them being just as good friends. Even if right now they beat each other with their toys and refuse to share. They have a lifetime to make up for it right?! I am enjoying this ride of Motherhood with Terry, just one more thing we get to share together (and trust me there has been alot. . .can we say roommates one summer! haha) I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for him in future years! Just for fun. . .one year ago! |

I waited a long time to meet this little guy! Last summer I was on maternity leave so I didn’t have the chance to do his newborn photos then finally this summer we try to meet and the weather was not in our favor. . .three times! Really what are the chances right! Well good things definately come to those who wait and little N. here was no exception.
