SH Portraits provides location photography in Buffalo & WNY for babies, children, families and maternity with a special focus on newborn photography. A limited number of weddings, family reunions and other special events are also booked each year.

growing up l buffalo children’s photographyJuly 11th, 2010It is so hard for me to imagine that I first met this family when their little guy was just a couple of weeks old. Now he is nearing in on 5! I have had the wonderful experience of watching him grow and then welcome a new sister and now watching her grow as well. It is truly the BEST part of my job. I feel honored to have families choose me to document these fleeting times with their children. Love you guys!! Session was awesome and I can’t wait for you to see the gallery in a few days!

This is another great family that I was lucky enough to meet a few years ago when their first son arrived – and now I had the absolute pleasure of helping them welcome their new daughter into the world. Just love her – I mean really with the sweet cheeks and the hair how could you not?! Here’s a little more about them in their own words too. . .
What is your family’s favorite past time / what do you enjoy together as a family?
Mom and Dad love spending time with the family- BBQing, taking trips to the park, and doing anything outdoors. We love to cook as a family- especially making cookies and cupcakes with Kristifor.
What would you like to remember in 20 years when you look at your portraits from this session?
In 20 years, I want to look back at our children’s pictures and remember their childhood.

Its a buys life with 4 kiddos and running a business but I have to be more efficient at capturing my own kids too so hopefully this is a little bit of motivation for me! This week – we have Reid the littlest man of the house. His favorite spot in the house is by FAR this large picture window. It is in my office and look out into the backyard. I’m not quite sure what he finds so interesting out there, but he loves to watch. Maybe its the birds – or the amazing sunlight but when I turn around from my computer and see his little toes sticking out from under his bum it makes me smile. I hope it brings a smile to your face too! |
