Three Things
1 – Evening light is the best, love it for summer sessions especially
2 – Love that Mom and Dad will be just as silly as me for a great image (and yes it works!)
3 – I love photographing little boys – crazy, silly, running around little boys. Maybe its because I have 4 of my own, but I really think they are my thing and these two were no exception!

I first “met” this little one when she was in Mommy’s belly – and now check her out! Holy Moly – she gets more beautiful everytime I see her. New things I learned tonight about her – she loves her fairy wings, her wand and well – she is a typical 2 year old girl that just chatters away. Love her to PIECES and then some!

It is so hard for me to imagine that I first met this family when their little guy was just a couple of weeks old. Now he is nearing in on 5! I have had the wonderful experience of watching him grow and then welcome a new sister and now watching her grow as well. It is truly the BEST part of my job. I feel honored to have families choose me to document these fleeting times with their children. Love you guys!! Session was awesome and I can’t wait for you to see the gallery in a few days!

It was a hot morning and I think we are going to meet up again with these two littles – but in the meantime how could I not share these sweet faces! Big sister is full of personality which I just adore and her little brother while not all that into it – we squeaked a few smiles out. Love them to pieces!

Amazing how time flies – this little man was itty bitty just a few months ago at his newborn session. Now he is sitting up, babbling, laughing and full of personality! It was wonderful as usual to catch up with his Mom and to be a part of this family’s life – even if in a small way. I am sure that there a few people out there waiting to see this preview so without futher delay here he is!

Having great images is not all about the camera. No really – it isn’t. Truth be told – my iPhone is my biggest asset in my handbag. It captures my kids 90% of the time when I am too tired to get out my photo equipment. That being said – should you not invest in custom photography, abosolutely not. But with a little creativity (and some cool apps for the iPhone the one I used is called “Shake it Photo”) you too can have a lot of fun with your kids and your point and shoot camera at home. When you want the special, hang on your walls, pro pictures – definately give me a ring! Here is a bit of fun I had with my little guy Jude yesterday outside. For those outside of the Buffalo area – it was over 60 degrees and GORGEOUS. So we walked to the corner store for some new chalk and bubbles!
